Hi, my name is Stuart Greenwood, and I am the founder and owner of Soot Busters (Sweeps) Ltd. I was born and raised in the Cambridgeshire fens, and up to April 2016 I had been employed as a farm worker in Ramsey Heights since leaving school. Last year I was involved with the Great Fen Project and Oxford Archaeology, as the digger driver, to recover the remains of a lost WWII Spitfire from Holme Fen. It was a great privilege to be included in this project with the highlight being the lifting of the Merlin engine.
Following being made redundant, I decided to start my own business - as a chimney sweep - to serve the local community by keeping home owners, their families and their property safe from house fires and carbon monoxide poisoning.
I have attended a training course with NACS (National Association of Chimney Sweeps) to be trained in using the most up-to-date tools and processes. This way, you can be assured that any work that I and my team do for you will be completed as safely and as cleanly as possible.
Whilst we are trying to keep local to Ramsey and the surrounding villages, so there shouldn’t be a long wait for service, we will travel further afield as needed, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
At Soot Busters we are happy to help in any way that we can.
